| Linoleum
NovaLinoleum is a natural product, linoleum gets its name from its main ingredient linseed oil. Linseed oil is pressed from the flaxseed, the oil is dried out and ground into a fine powder know as "linoleum cement". The cement is combined with ground cork and or pine rosins, wood flour and natural pigments and pressed into the final product. Linoleum flooring is a durable product that is comfortable, warm and quiet. The built in shock and sound absorbers of the cork backing act as an excellent sound deadening material. NovaLinoleum flooring is also hypoallergenic and antistatic; this makes it a wonderful choice home, office or medical facilities. With the antistatic qualities linoleum repels dust and dirt. NovaLinoleum is available in 11 decorative colors to coordinate with any interior design. Available in a floating floor traditional tongue and groove system, the floor system is comprised of 12" x 36" planks consisting of 3 distinctive layers. The surface layer of 2mm 100% linoleum, the middle layer of high density fiber core with a base layer of 2mm low density cork providing excellent acoustic insulation. NovaLinoleum's natural properties provide a high level of durability with ease of maintenance for any design criteria. |
